Sylvester Stallone Says Dustin Poirier’s Hunger Gives Him A Huge Advantage Over Conor McGregor

The long-standing rivalry between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier remains one of the most highly discussed topics in the MMA world. The Notorious One isn’t one to back down from a fight and also to spare any expenses when it comes to talking trash to his opponents.

Notorious is always open to trash talking his opponents but it seems in the past couple of years, he has not been able to back up what he’s been saying, as evident from his loss against Dustin Poirier earlier in the year.

While speaking to TMZ Sports, Sylvester Stallone was asked about the upcoming fight between McGregor and Poirier. Stallone stated that Dustin Poirier has a huge advantage over Conor McGregor because he’s the hungrier of the two.

“Poirier has the big-time advantage. You got a really hungry, young guy (Poirier) and then you got a guy who’s made a lot of money but he’s also sorta hungry (McGregor).”

Despite stating that Dustin Poirier has an advantage, Sylvester Stallone didn’t predict who will come out the victor in the upcoming fight.

“That one I swear you really flip a coin on. It’s like who hits first.”

McGregor is certainly focused on his upcoming fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 on July 11th in their third fight together. Both of them currently have a win over the other, so we will have to see who will become the definite winner in the high profile rivalry.
