Spider-Man: No Way Home will be picking up right after the events of 2019’s Spider-Man: Homecoming. It was stated by reports that Spider-Man: No Way Home will be one of the many upcoming Marvel movies that will focus on the multiverse.
With its focus on the multiverse, many fans have been wondering whether the upcoming Spider-Man film will have previous Spider-Man actors such as Andrew Garfield.
Despite all the rumors, Garfield would deny his involvement in the upcoming film but then changed his mind about possibly appearing in the film. Emma Stone, who portrayed the role of Gwen Stacy opposite Andrew Garfield in the two Spider-Man films, has also denied rumors of making an appearance in the film.
To make matters interesting, it seems the upcoming film will also mark the beginning of the shared Marvel universe between Sony and the MCU. Now it seems a huge announcement might be made soon.
According to a report by TheDisInsider scooper Skyler Shuler on Twitter, the first trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home could be dropping this week. Shuler had previously reported that Keanu Reeves was approached for Sony’s Kraven the Hunter but passed on it. This report was later on confirmed as well.
Many fans have speculated that the trailer could be dropping on June 1st, which is Tom Holland’s birthday. Marvel Studios had done the same for its Shang-Chi star Simu Liu as well.
We will have to wait and see whether the trailer for the film really does drop this week or not. Fans are no doubt eagerly anticipating the return of their beloved superhero.
