‘Among Us’ Chicken Nugget Gets Sold For $100K On eBay

Among Us took the entire world by storm last year, as it made its way onto modern-day pop culture, spreading across various mediums and that includes having Among us themed food as well.

The now-iconic shape of the characters in the game has become prevalent in the daily lives of people on social media. It seems one particular person who sold a McDonald’s chicken nugget which was shaped like an Among us crewmate, is certainly a happy man now as that particular nugget has sold for around $100K.

According to a report by Video Games Chronicle, the Among Us-shaped chicken nugget sold early on Friday on eBay. There were around 184 bids for the nugget and the $99,997 selling price was significantly higher than anyone could have even imagined.

Sold by an eBay seller who goes by polizna, the listing for the item shows the final selling price with the chicken nugget marked as “sold.” The seller described the nugget as “used” and will expire within two weeks of initial purchase.

Looking through the bidding history, the nugget had an initial price of less than a dollar before eventually increasing to over $10,000 with a couple of different bidders competing with one another throughout the whole exchange. It simply goes to show just how popular Among Us still is and we certainly hope the new owner of the very expensive nugget is happy with his purchase.
