For a long time, fans have been eagerly waiting for YouTube personality Logan Paul to duke it out with Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match. After it was delayed earlier in the year, the match was finally confirmed by Logan Paul.
The hype surrounding the megafight is only building up with each passing day and it certainly has gotten to Logan Paul’s head. Paul previously made a bold declaration that he will knock out Floyd Mayweather in the upcoming megafight
Both Mayweather and Paul have called each other out on several occasions as the fight draws near. There is also no doubt that the upcoming fight will be a big-money affair and at this moment the undeniable favorite heading into the match is Floyd Mayweather.
It seems a boxing legend also doesn’t think too highly of Logan Paul’s chances at beating Mayweather. While speaking to TMZ Sports, Roy Jones. Jr was asked about Logan Paul’s chances against Floyd Mayweather. Naturally, Jones Jr. stated Paul has absolutely no chance to win the match, dismissing even the ‘puncher’s chance’ theory.
“You’re talking about the greatest defensive fighter of all time. So, it’s very hard to hit him. That being said, I don’t give the kid a chance. C’mon bro, that’s Floyd Mayweather. Are you serious?”
“If he was Mike Tyson’s size, it’d be different. He’s not Mike Tyson’s size … it’s not gonna happen.”
Interestingly enough, the upcoming fight will not be officially recorded as it will be an unsanctioned fight. Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather is set to take place on June 6 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. We will have to see if Mayweather will dominate the fight or if Paul will somehow come up with the upset victory.
