NFL star Ezekiel Elliott is one of the top players for the Dallas Cowboys but unfortunately for him, he has a penchant for getting into trouble. He has landed himself in hot water yet again due to his dogs allegedly attacking another person.
According to TMZ Sports, Elliott’s Rottweiler has been accused of attacking yet another person. According to the lawsuit filed by Brandon Williams, who works at the Bliss Pet Resort in Prosper, Texas, it was alleged that when Williams was taking Elliot’s Rottweiler and two pit bulls out to relieve themselves, the Rottweiler suddenly attacked Williams.
According to Williams, the dog seized his right arm, clamped down, and threw him to the ground. The bite he suffered at the hands of the dog was so severe that he required stitches and was “seriously injured.” Williams is now filing a lawsuit against Elliott, seeking more than $250,000, but less than $1 million.
Of course, this isn’t the first time Elliott’s dogs have gotten him into trouble as last month, his dogs had attacked a couple of neighbors, who suffered injuries. It was also previously reported that police conducted an investigation into the incident.
Ezekiel Elliott’s lawyer Frank Salzano also sent a statement regarding the new lawsuit, stating that Elliott will be handling the matter accordingly.
“Mr. Elliott and his representatives were very surprised to learn of Mr. Williams’ complaint, particularly given that Bliss Pet Spa indicated at the time of the incident that this was not uncommon and was being handled under standard spa protocol. Mr. Elliott will address this matter accordingly.”
We will have to see what will become of either of these cases and will keep you updated on this ongoing story.
