LeBron James and his LA Lakers are already out of the NBA Playoffs. That adventure didn’t last long, but King James gave his all. He even played through an injury when he was told to rest up.

Fans panned LeBron James’ effort in the NBA Playoffs, even dubbing him “LeFlop.” This did not help, especially with LeBron having to make cries for the NBA to protect its players from fans.

Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports spoke with James about his injury. In the process, he revealed that it was much worse than he let on. In fact, he played against physicians suggestions.

The four-time champ was 85% healthy for the series, but that percentage fluctuated game-to-game, sources said.

The high-ankle sprain was the main reason he wasn’t able to routinely penetrate and attack the paint like he’s accustomed to doing.

“I’m not worried about anything. I just need rest. I was told that from the beginning. I gave what I had.”

LeBron James will have another season to try it all over again next year. Hopefully, he will have better results after a few months. He will also be playing with the Tune Squad this Summer in Space Jam 2.

James didn’t lead his Lakers to a championship this time around, but he fought through a bit of pain in the process. It’s hard not to respect him for that.

With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
