Chrissy Teigen is currently one of the most popular models and television personalities out there right now. However, Teigen is not without her fair share of controversies as of late.
Teigen has been accused of cyberbullying due to the extremely abrasive and cruel message she sent to reality star Courtney Stodden years ago. Since then Teigen has been off the grid on social media.
However, it seems Chrissy Teigen has made a comeback to social media – just not from her own Instagram page. She appeared in a photo on husband John Legend’s page that was taken at their daughter Luna’s dance recital.
“So proud of our little dancer!”
As seen in the photo, the supermodel is smiling brightly as she snuggles up to Luna, who is wearing a red dance costume for her first-ever recital. Many fans commented on the post, requesting Teigen to return to Instagram for good.
“CAN CRISSY COME BACK TO SOCIAL MEDIA!!!! I MISS HER!!!!!”
“Chrissy , I know you must be struggling ..: I don’t know if you’ll even read this …. but stay positive, stay humble , and never give up. Your loved and your forgiven
Let’s stop canceling people that make mistakes Let’s try and forgive and live with love you only live once
While Teigen did apologize to Stodden over her horrific remarks last month, the damage was done. Stodden is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns and while speaking in a recent interview, stated that Teigen told Stodden to kill themselves. Naturally, there were those who weren’t so easy to forgive Teigen for what she said.
“The people writing “WE MISS CHRISSY!”… imagine it was YOUR daughter she told to kill herself, all while preaching that kindness is important, She doesn’t need to come back. We need less people like this, SPECIFICALLY in the public spotlight.”
Due to the controversy, Teigen left the Netflix comedy Never Have I Ever and lost a deal for her cookware line with Bloomingdale’s. We certainly hope she realizes just how terrible her comments toward Stodden were and that she will learn to do better.
