Francis Ngannou Doesn’t Back Down From Demanding Jon Jones Fight

Jon Jones is one of the most popular fighters in the history of the UFC. For the past couple of months, Jones had been gunning for Francis Ngannou’s UFC Heavyweight Championship.

Jones had revealed in the past that he felt undervalued and simply wanted to be paid better. Unfortunately for Jones, it was previously stated that he will not be facing Ngannou anytime soon as Ngannou will be facing Derrick Lewis this Summer.

Dana White also recently stated that he is moving on from Jon Jones’ chapter and that is not changing. However, it seems Francis Ngannou hasn’t given up on facing Jon Jones just yet.

While speaking to TMZ Sports, UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou was asked about fight Jon Jones, where Ngannou admitted that fighting Jon Jones is always on his mind and he still hasn’t given up on the fight.

 “I want Jon Jones … I love that fight.”

Jon Jones also made it clear that he is fine waiting another year until Jones gets to compete in the Octagon again. We will have to see who Jones’ opponent will be whenever he fights again and if it will ultimately be Francis Ngannou.
