Jake Paul made it his life’s mission to play the role of a very annoying and punch-worthy character and taking part in big money matches that break records. This includes going after Tyron Woodley, which ultimately led to the match in the first place.
After a lot of teases and speculation, it was finally revealed that Jake Paul is set to square off against former UFC star Tyron Woodley in a boxing match for Showtime Boxing on August 28th.
While speaking on the Impaulsive podcast, Jake Paul talked about the bet he made to Woodley during their face-off last week. Paul stated that due to Woodley not responding to the bet simply shows just how confident he is of his performance in their upcoming boxing match.
“I saw a tweet, he’s like, ‘Guys, MMA community or boxing community, I’m gonna end Jake Paul and knock him out, so we don’t have to see any more of this clown.’ And I’m like, ‘Bet, we will see who works harder Tyron. We will see who’s faster, stronger.’ And look, I challenged him to a bet, and he didn’t wanna take the bet so it kind of shows his confidence.”
There is no doubt that Woodley is Jake Paul’s toughest opponent yet and fans are excited to see what will happen when the two face off. We will have to see if Jake Paul will be able to defeat Tyron Woodley in his upcoming match or if Woodley will have the confidence to beat him instead.
