Vin Diesel is currently one of the most popular actors in Hollywood and is also a legitimate tough guy as presented by his roles in the Fast & Furious films. He has starred in a variety of action and comedy films in his career but now it seems he is interested in a huge franchise.
James Cameron is the brains behind the original Avatar, which is once again the highest-grossing film in the history of the industry. The Oscar-winning director has four follow-up entries to the franchise in the works right now.
For a long time now there have been rumors that Vin Diesel will be acting in the Avatar sequels. While speaking to MTV News‘ Josh Horowitz, Vin Diesel was asked about the rumors. While Diesel didn’t confirm anything about Avatar as he played coy, Diesel did reveal that he will be working with James Cameron in the future.
“I have spent time with him, but I have not filmed yet. I love James Cameron. I love James Cameron, and I love the series, and I think it’s safe to say that we will be working together.”
Avatar 2 is set to release on December 16, 2022. We will have to see whether it will reach the heights of the original film and whether Vin Diesel will be part of it or not.
