Conor McGregor Mocks Dustin Poirier For Grappling Too Much In Fights

The long-standing rivalry between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier remains one of the most highly discussed topics in the MMA world. The Notorious One isn’t one to back down from a fight and also to spare any expenses when it comes to talking trash to his opponents.

Notorious is always open to trash talking his opponents but it seems in the past couple of years, he has not been able to back up what he’s been saying, as evident from his loss against Dustin Poirier earlier in the year.

Conor McGregor loves to get inside the head of his opponents prior to a big fight and he did just that against Dustin Poirier. The Notorious One took to Twitter and sent a strong message to Poirier which referenced their UFC 257 bout.

McGregor uploaded a photo of a Las Vegas that had a billboard of him on it and he put the caption in a way to mock Dustin Poirier for grappling too much during his fights, referencing Poirier shooting for McGregor’s legs and securing a takedown in the first round of their last fight.

McGregor is certainly focused on his upcoming fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 on July 11th in their third fight together. Both of them currently have a win over the other, so we will have to see who will become the definite winner and have bragging rights. Should McGregor lose, it is likely his credibility as a UFC fighter will be damaged for good.
