Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is one of the all-time greats in the world of professional basketball. James suffered a very nasty injury to his right ankle in the Lakers’ game against the Atlanta Hawks back in March and despite making a return, James simply hasn’t been the same since the injury.
While LeBron James certainly has seen better days, it does not really blemish his legacy as LeBron James remains in the discussion of the greatest basketball player of all time regardless.
Former NBA player turned ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins took to Twitter and stated that LeBron James does not give a damn about the argument of who is the best player in the NBA.
“To keep it a buck I don’t think Lebron James gives a damn about being the best player in the NBA!!! I mean the man is only entering his 19th season. Carry on…”
This was made in light of Kevin Durant’s incredible performance against the Milwaukee Bucks. LeBron James himself would tell fans to appreciate Kevin Durant’s greatness, ignoring the debate of whether he or Durant is the greatest basketball player in the world right now.
