Nick Carter has been in the game for a long time. As people start to age, their bodies end up collecting more fat, and celebrities get no exceptions from the rule. Carter, who is 41 years old, revealed to Hollywood Life that it was Will Smith who motivated him to work on his dad bod.
In the Hollywood Life exclusive interview on the TVTalk on Instagram Live, he revealed that he was almost ready to unleash his body with all the weight he had put on, but seeing Smith’s fitness journey really pushed him in the other direction.
I’m working on my Dad bod! I saw Will Smith, the challenge that he was doing and how that bod got him through COVID. I was this close to showing how much weight I gained during the pandemic.
Nick Carter has been staying at home with his family throughout the pandemic, and he revealed that he’s been trying to focus on his workouts while having enough time to be with his wife Lauren Kitt Carter, and three children, son Odin, 5, and daughter Saiorse, 1, and Pearl, who is only two months old.
I’ve got to get back in the gym so I’m trying to find a way to delegate my time at home with the kids, but at the same time I don’t want to be selfish. I want to be there for them, but I’ve got to dedicate a little bit of time for myself. Those are the things I’m working on, personally.
Carter has been keeping busy in the pandemic, and in the honor of PrideMonth, he join NSYNC members Lance Bass and Joey Fatone, along with fellow member AJ McLean to raise money for charity at Bingo Under the Stars which aid Mission Tsuki and The Trevor Project.
