Khloe Kardashian is no stranger to the public eye, and neither is her nose. Plenty of fans have pointed out her nose and called the reality TV star out for getting work done. She recently copped to having surgery, but she’s only admitting to one procedure.
During the Keeping up with the Kardashians reunion special, Khloe admitted to getting one nose job. This was in response to so many people thinking that she had a full-on face-off type face transplant.
“Everybody says, ‘Oh, my gosh, she’s had her third face transplant!’ But I’ve had one nose job.”
“Everybody gets so upset, like, why don’t I talk about it? Nobody’s ever asked me. You’re the first person in an interview that’s ever asked me about my nose. I’ve done, sure, injections — not really Botox. I’ve responded poorly to Botox.”
“When the show first started I was very secure. Very secure. And then during the first couple of seasons I became insecure because of the public opinions of myself. Then I had a think I had a good run of being secure, and then I think recently I’ve become insecure again.”
“I was so confident and secure before the show. Season 1, I wouldn’t say I was famous. I was Kim’s sister, but I remember Kourtney and I would always be in the background of her photos and we loved it.”
Khloe said that she has a massive amount of self confidence before Keeping up with the Kardashians started. She even put on Kim K’s bodycon dresses despite the fact that they didn’t even fit her. Then she noticed that the media was hard on her and that chipped away at that confidence.
Kardashian still deals with shady fans, some have said she looked like an alien in recent memory. That is nothing compared to the devastating words that she first heard when breaking out into the public eye.
People like Perez Hilton called her “fugly,” and that brought on a massive amount of insecurity. That led to her plastic surgery, but Khloe Kardashian seems to be in a much better place right now when it comes to her own body positivity.
