The famous rapper posted an Instagram story that seemed to agree with the idea that he is an absolute innovator. Plenty of rappers have flexed their cash by pretending it was a cell phone, but Soulja Boy was the first to dial up a stack of Benjamins.

DJ Akademiks posted a photo of Soulja Boy pretending to be on a cell phone while holding a stack of cash to his ear. The comment below the post said: “Comment everything that Soulja Boy has been the first to do in hop hop.”

This post has received a lot of attention as fans have now joined the conversation. The general consensus is that Soulja Boy might not get the credit he rightfully deserves. Perhaps becoming BFFs with Elon Musk will help elevate his public profile.
