Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Frank Clark was one of the top players for the team. However, it seems he has made headlines for all the wrong reasons recently as he was arrested during Father’s Day weekend.
Reports stated that Frank Clark was arrested this weekend in Los Angeles after authorities claimed they located a submachine gun inside of his vehicle. According to CNN who spoke to a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson and was given details regarding the interaction between Clark and authorities.
“Yesterday at about 9:20 p.m., Mr. Clark was pulled over in the area of Grand and Adams for a vehicle code violation. At this time, officers observed a bag with an Uzi sticking out.”
Frank Clark was “arrested for allegedly possessing a concealed firearm in a vehicle.” Clark was released from the Los Angeles County Jail after paying a $35K bond. Alex Spiro, Clark’s lawyer, stated that the weapon in question wasn’t his client’s but “belonged to the bodyguard.” Currently, the NFL has yet to release a statement on the situation but that is likely to happen very soon.
