Jake Paul is undoubtedly one of the most popular boxers in the world right now thanks to his insanely huge big-money boxing matches and the hype he builds for each of his matches.
After a lot of teases and speculation, it was finally revealed that Jake Paul is set to square off against former UFC star Tyron Woodley in a boxing match for Showtime Boxing on August 28th.
Jake Paul is also known to call out future opponents or those who don’t necessarily want to face him. While speaking to TMZ Sports, Jake Paul talked about eventually wanting to face Canelo Alvarez in a title match.
Of course, Paul is well aware that he has a long way to go if he ever wants to challenge the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world. Paul stated that he’s taking professional boxing seriously and that he’s on a trajectory to be “the most disruptive boxer in the history of the sport.”
Tyron Woodley will undoubtedly be Jake Paul’s most difficult boxing match so far in his career and we will have to see if The Problem Child will be able to walk away as the winner. After that, perhaps Paul will face Canelo Alvarez one day.
