Stephen Amell made a name for himself by portraying the role of the Green Arrow in CW’s hit show Arrow. However, Stephen Amell also recently made headlines for reason he certainly didn’t like.
Stephen Amell was kicked off a flight after an argument with his wife while on a Delta flight from Austin to LA. This certainly shocked many fans wondering what really happened.
Stephen Amell finally addressed the situation as he took to Twitter and clarified what really happened. Amell stated that here was an argument between him and his wife while on the plane before it took off. At one point he was asked to lower his voice.
Amell claimed that he did, but about 10 minutes Amell was asked to leave the flight. He did so willingly and was not forcibly removed. After that, he booked himself on another flight and traveled home to Los Angeles without any other issues.
My wife and I got into an argument Monday afternoon on a Delta flight from Austin to LA. I was asked to lower my voice and I did. Approximately 10 minutes later I was asked to leave the flight. And I did so immediately. I was not forcibly removed
I rebooked myself on a Southwest flight 2 hours later and traveled home without any further issue. I let my emotions get the better of me, end of story. Must be a slow news cycle.
So it seems this was a simple case of things blowing out of proportion for the sake of it, as Stephen Amell didn’t do anything bad as reports made it seem like.
