Kevin Durant is widely regarded for his skills on the basketball court. It is also thought by people like Magic Johnson that he is primed and ready to step up and take over the title of “The Man” in the NBA from LeBron James.

During a recent conversation with the Out Of Office podcast, KD spoke about his options in sports. He decided to pursue pro basketball, but he is very certain that he could have balled with the best of them on the gridiron as well.

“I could play football. I can be a wideout at least. There’s wideouts that’s 6 feet, 170 [pounds]. … All go routes,”

Obviously, basketball was Kevin Durant’s true calling. He’s racked up enough cash and points in the process to prove that he belongs in pro basketball. That won’t stop fans from having some fun trying to picture KD with shoulder pads on instead of sweatbands.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
