One of the biggest complaints from UFC in the past few years has undoubtedly been the promotion not paying their fighters properly. Jon Jones, in particular, has demanded he get paid a proper amount of money to compete in big fights.
For the past few months, YouTube personality turned professional boxer Jake Paul has become a champion for the rights of the UFC fighters being paid what they deserve.
Jake Paul had previously blasted Dana White over UFC not paying their fighters properly and Paul is certainly relentless when it comes to calling out the UFC President as he did it yet again recently.
UFC women’s flyweight Sarah Alpar recently started a GoFundMe in order to pay for her fight costs. Jake Paul took to Twitter and revealed that he donated $5k dollars to her GoFundMe and also took the opportunity to throw shade at the UFC in the process.
SMH… Imagine a rookie in the NBA had to start a GoFundMe to play.. I let Sarah @TOOSWEET_Alpar know she has my support and contribution It’s my honor and privilege to help fellow fighters in anyway I can
We certainly wonder if Dana White will one day realize that he really should pay his fighters an amount that they deserve, but it seems unlikely at this point in time. However, that won’t stop Jake Paul from constantly reminding the world of what Dana White is doing.
