Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson remains one of the most popular pro wrestlers to have ever stepped foot inside the squared circle. He was a true icon in WWE and his stock only rose after The Rock made his way to Hollywood, where he is now the highest-paid actor in the industry.
He has competed against the best of the best the pro wrestling world has to offer and has done essentially everything one can do in pro wrestling. Despite that, it seems he still has regrets about his career.
Former WWE Superstar Hurricane Helms recently took to Twitter and stated that he was watching The Rock and Booker T square off against each other at SummerSlam 2001 and wished the two had wrestled each other more.
The Rock saw Hurricane Helms’ tweet and decided to reply to it as he stated that one of his biggest regrets is not having a longer feud with Booker T.
“Thank you, brother. I do too actually. One of my biggest regrets was not having a long run [with] Book. He was one of my fav workers and the best pure athlete I’ve ever wrestled with. Fluid, sharp, believable movements and work style. I always say his moves had a rare swagger.”
The Rock is currently busy in Hollywood as he is set to star in films such as Disney’s Jungle Cruise and DC’s Black Adam. We will have to see if The Rock will make his return to the company eventually as fans would love that.
