Conor McGregor Says Dustin Poirier Will Get The ‘Mixed Martial Arts He Asked For’ Ahead Of Fight

The long-standing rivalry between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier remains one of the most highly discussed topics in the MMA world. The Notorious One isn’t one to back down from a fight and also to spare any expenses when it comes to talking trash to his opponents.

Notorious is always open to trash-talking his opponents but it seems in the past couple of years, he has not been able to back up what he’s been saying, as evident from his loss against Dustin Poirier earlier in the year.

McGregor previously mocked Dustin Poirier for grappling too much in his fights as well. Poirier would fire back by stating that Conor McGregor’s comments reek of insecurity.

Conor McGregor recently conducted a fan Q&A session on his Instagram Live, where he promised to give Dustin Poirier the mixed martial arts that he wanted.

“Give him a proper head kick. There’ll be a lot of weapons. There’ll be a lot of weapons produced on the night for sure. He wants mixed martial arts, he’s gonna get it.”

McGregor is certainly focused on his upcoming fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 on July 11th in their third fight together. Both of them currently have a win over the other, so we will have to see who will ultimately come out on top.
