Britney Spears Wants To Get Married But Her Boyfriend Sam Asghari Still Hasn’t Proposed

Pop sensation Britney Spears is certainly a controversial figure in the music world, going back to her 2007 meltdown and her father then moving to form a conservatorship around Spears’ estate.

Britney Spears finally spoke out against her father’s conservatorship on June 23rd addressing a Los Angeles Superior Court judge via video. For a long time, Britney Spears has been working hard to get her father out of her life. Spears compared her father to a “sex trafficker” and said that “he loved” having control over her.

While that aspect of her life is certainly toxic, one of the best things in her life right now is her four-year relationship with her boyfriend Sam Asghari. Spears had previously mentioned her conservatorship prevented her from getting married but it seems even her boyfriend isn’t too keen on the idea yet.

According to a report by TMZ, Sam Asghari has not even tried to propose to Britney Spears despite her wanting to get married. While they have talked about it, a proposal simply hasn’t happened yet.

They went on a trip to Maui last week after she spoke out against her father during the court hearing. Even there, he didn’t propose to her. We certainly hope he does propose to her and they get married, as Britney Spears deserves to be happy.
