Conor McGregor remains one of the most well known MMA fighters in the history of combat sports and his accolades over the years speak for themselves. The Notorious is also known to trash talk often, with varied results.
While Conor McGregor has backed up his trash talks in the past, more often than not, they have also resulted in embarrassing defeats for him. McGregor also doesn’t hold any title in the UFC.
While speaking with Colin Cowherd of FOX Sports, UFC President Dana White discussed what he doesn’t like when it comes to working with Conor McGregor. White stated that McGregor always showing up late drives him crazy.
“I’ll tell you the things that drive me crazy about Conor. He’s showing up late. When he shows up late to press conferences and he shows up late in the weigh-ins and things like that. Because we have times set with these networks and things like that. Other than things like that, Conor McGregor is not bad to work with.”
McGregor has largely been unapologetic about being late as he had previously stated McGregor developed his habit of tardiness since he was a child. McGregor is more than determined to finally end his rivalry with Dustin Poirier once and for all and he will do just that at UFC 264 on July 11th. We will have to see who will win the fight.
