Alicia Keys is undoubtedly one of the most popular singers in the entire music industry right now. On top of her musical accolades, she is also set to star in an upcoming film.
The Netflix film, titled Resort To Love, will be produced by Alicia Keys and is set to release this month. The film has certainly become a major topic of discussion on social media, but unfortunately for Keys, it is for all the wrong reasons.
The film stars Christina Milian as a singer who gets booked for her ex’s wedding and ends up enamouring him away from his new fiancée. This made fans get reminded of Keys’ own affair with Swizz Beatz, who divorced his wife Mashonda and tied the knot with Keys the same month in 2010.
Many fans took to Twitter and brutally roasted the film for trying to show the main character, who is a homewrecker, in a sympathetic light. Fans took turns cracking all sorts of jokes about the film and Alicia Keys herself.

Resort To Love is set to release on July 29th and while it is still unknown just how good the film will turn out to be, it seems fans will have a blast watching it one way or the other.
