Conor McGregor Says Third Fight Against Nate Diaz ‘Must Happen’

There is no doubt that Conor McGregor remains one of the most talked-about and highly controversial fighters in the history of the MMA world. He has competed against the best of the best the sport has to offer.

This includes his highly lauded fights against Nate Diaz, as the two faced off against each other on two occasions at UFC 196 and UFC 202. They both have one victory over the other.

For a long time, many fans have been wondering whether the two will face off in a third fight and complete their trilogy together. While speaking at the UFC 264 press conference, Conor McGregor was asked about a possible third fight against Nate Diaz.

The Notorious One simply stated that he is sure the third fight will happen in the future and that McGregor looks forward to the day when it does.

“It’s for sure gonna happen, it must happen. We’re one and one and must happen. It will happen and I look forward to the day.”

We will have to wait and see when Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz will duke it out in their third fight together in the future.
