It cannot be denied that Dana White has made UFC what it is today as it remains the most popular promotion for MMA in the world right now. The world of MMA has certainly grown exponentially since its humble beginnings a couple of decades ago.
With UFC 264 set to take place on July 11, the hype for the upcoming event is through the roof and it could also be making history from the looks of it.
Several celebrities will be attending UFC 264 and that includes former President of the United States of America Donald Trump, which is certainly something many fans are not happy about.
While speaking to TMZ Sports, Dana White talked about Donald Trump appearing in UFC 264 and was asked if Trump is ready to deal with a lot of boos since that is very likely. White stated that Donald Trump won’t be hiding in a box.
“That guy is ready for anything, anytime, anywhere. I’ve never seen anybody with more energy, more; I mean, if you look at President Trump, what is he? 72? 73? You know, and the amount of energy that this guy still has. It’s amazing.
Oh, he’s sitting right behind me. He’s sitting right behind me…Right behind me. Hey, guys, he don’t care. He’s not that guy. He’s not hiding in a box somewhere. That’s not his style.”
UFC 264 is headlined by the trilogy fight between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier. We will have to wait and see if the pay-per-view becomes the biggest in the company’s history.
