The long-standing rivalry between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier remains one of the most highly discussed topics in the MMA world. It culminated in their fight at UFC 264 on July 10th.

The main event truly had a big fight feel as many fans were excited to see which competitor would end up victorious. In the end, Dustin Poirier would win the fight in a shocking manner after Conor McGregor fractured his ankle at the end of the first round. Poirier won the fight via TKO.

After the fight, Conor McGregor behaved like a sore loser as he went after Dustin Poirier’s wife Jolie Poirier yet again. His unprofessional behavior drew the ire of fans on social media.

While speaking at the UFC 264 post-fight press conference, UFC President DanaWhite was asked about his thoughts on Conor McGregor going after Poirier’s wife. White expressed his disapproval at McGregor’s action and said that he should leave Poirier’s wife and family out of it.

“Ah, yeah, I don’t like that. Yeah, that’s not good. Leave people’s family and lives and you know, all that stuff out of it. Family has nothing to do with it.”

We will have to wait and see what is next in store for McGregor as it was confirmed that he will have a rematch against Dustin Poirier in the future.
