Khabib Nurmagomedov Declares ‘Good Always Defeats Evil’ After Dustin Poirier Beat Conor McGregor

Khabib Nurmagomedov will always be regarded as one of the best UFC fighters to have competed in the MMA world. Khabib ended his career after his match against Justin Gaethje at UFC 254 in 2020.

His opinion certainly carries a lot of weight and that is not changing anytime soon. In the main event of UFC 264, Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor competed against each other in their trilogy fight, with many fans wondering who would win in the end.

When all was said and done Conor McGregor fractured his ankle at the end of the first round and Dustin Poirier was declared the winner via TKO after the fight ended due to doctor’s stoppage.

After the conclusion of the fight, Khabib Nurmagomedov took to Twitter and stated that good always defeats evil and that he is happy for Dustin Poirier.

Dustin Poirier now has two wins over Conor McGregor and with a fourth fight confirmed to happen in the future, we will have to wait and see if McGregor will be at his best in the fight. Khabib would love nothing more than to see McGregor lose in a decisive fashion next time.
