DaBaby made a lot of money in his career, but that doesn’t mean he has any extra to get scammed. Someone recently tried to pull a fast one on the famous rapper, but he shut that down in a hurry.

Following an appearance at the ESPY Awards, DaBaby was feeling generous. He happened upon two kids selling candy, but they wanted to upcharge him in a big way.

These kids were selling Skittles and Gushers for $2 each, but DaBaby wanted to help them out and buy everything they had. As he held a wad of large bills, DaBaby asked them how much they would charge for all of their inventory.

They told DaBaby that $200 was the price they wanted for all the Skittles and Gushers in their supply. This is when DaBaby had to shut them down with some basic algebra, because those kids only had 34 bags of candy to sell.

“What’s 34 times two. It ain’t $200. It ain’t even $100. It’s $68. You give me one too.”

DaBaby obviously had those boys a bit shaken up by all the money he was flashing their direction. They didn’t make off with $200, but they did learn a lesson about overcharging, especially their celebrity clientele.
