Nostalgia is not going away and Sex and the City is cashing in with a reboot. Kim Cattrall is not coming back, but plenty of those stories from the show will continue in this new installment.

Page Six has received a script leak and a very interesting tidbit was revealed. There will be issues with Mr. Big as he and Carrie Bradshaw have split. In fact, they’re in the middle of a “bitter divorce” in this new chapter of the story.

Filming is ongoing in NYC and Sarah Jessica Parker is hard at work. It was revealed that the new HBO Max series, “And Just Like That…” will see her character in the midst of a divorce with Chris Noth’s Mr. Big character.

Carrie and Big got married in the movie, but not after he got cold feet and left her at the alter. Now it is reported that Carrie is in her 50s and hosting a podcast. She is also “fighting with finances in a plot familiar to many real-life Manhattan socialites.”

In the new scene, Carrie is dining with BFFs Stanford Blatch (played by Willie Garson), Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte York Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis).

Carrie tells them she isn’t in a good place: “I was taping the podcast, I was washing my hair. Yes, I wasn’t eating or sleeping, but at least I felt good about my marriage. Now I’m just one of the wives he was taking care of?”

Fans of the Sex and the City series will have a lot to look forward to. This new spoiler will also give them something to expect. It seems that this new installment will not shy away from giving their characters plenty of issues to work around.
