Bridgerton has run into a temporary halt even when the world is shaking off the pandemic. After a crew member ended up catching COVID-19, the Netflix series ended up shutting down its operations for a day.
Deadline reported that the crew member reached into isolation, and due to the infectious nature of the various, the show had to shut down its operations until it was confirmed that everyone is fit to return for the shoot.
The series, which is adapted from Julia Quinn’s novels, premiered in December 2020, and the audience received it with warm hands. Currently standing acclaimed, The Shondaland series reached an astounding 82 million households, which is a record breaking viewership count.
While the audiences are completely mesmerized by the show, the show was loved by critics and got bestowed with 12 Emmy Nominations, with actor Rege-Jean Page winning an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series category.
