Bridgerton is currently one of the most popular shows on Netflix right now and became a pop culture phenomenon in a short time after airing last year.
According to Netflix, 82 million households tuned in for Bridgerton, making it the most-watched series of all time for the streaming service. The show was also renewed for three more seasons.
Recently, the production for the second season of the show was brought to a halt after a crew member and more tested positive for COVID-19. Many fans feared production would be stopped for a long time.
However, that is no longer the case as it seems production for the upcoming second season has already resumed according to a report by The Wrap. It has been confirmed that the Netflix show adhered to all UK health and safety protocols relating to COVID-19.
No cast members tested positive for COVID-19 either. Season 2 promises to amp up everything established in Season 1 and we will have to wait and see just how well-received it will be once it finally drops.
