Everyone’s favorite serial killer doll Chucky is set to make his small screen debut with the series named Chucky. It has started production and is slated to release this Fall on Syfy.’

After a long time waiting, fans finally got a taste of what is to come in the upcoming series as Syfy officially released the first teaser trailer for the show recently.
Images were also released that gave more insight into the upcoming television show. It was previously revealed that Chucky will be allowed to swear quite a lot during each episode of the show.
According to a report by Bloody Disgusting, the upcoming television series will explain the childhood origin story of Child’s Play serial killer Charles Lee Ray, aka the Lakeshore Strangler. As many fans remember, Ray was killed by police in a toy store in the first Child’s Play film, but transferred his soul into the Good Guy doll known as Chucky through voodoo.
Several plot details for the upcoming 10-episode horror series was previously revealed as well. From what it seems, the series is certain to be a hit with fans of the franchise. The series will start airing on Syfy on October 12 and we will have to see whether it lives up to expectations or not.
