Megan Fox is currently one of the most popular celebrities in Hollywood and on top of that, she is a genuinely nice person. She also had to deal with her own personal demons in the past.
Now it seems one specific incident made Megan Fox give up drinking for good. While speaking to Who What Wear, the 35-year-old actress how not feeling very comfortable in a certain ensemble made her drink far too much to calm her nerves at the 2009 Golden Globes.
Fox mentioned a gold Ralph Lauren gown and a tight up-hairdo and then explained how she hated wearing her hair a certain way during the Golden Globes.
“I hate wearing my hair back like this. I cannot believe I allowed this to happen. I have a huge, round forehead so I hate wearing my hair slicked back like that.”
Inside the venue, she was seated beside Blake Lively “and all three Jonas Brothers” at a table adorned with “giant bottles of Moët champagne.” As the event continued, Megan Fox went through multiple glasses” on her own and it got really messy.
“Now I don’t drink, and this is why. I was belligerent and said a bunch of s–t I shouldn’t have said on the red carpet after that. I’m sure I got in a lot of trouble for what I said … I don’t remember why but I know that I did.
I’m so painfully insecure, like, I’m on the verge of vomiting right now. I’m so horrified that I’m here and embarrassed. … It’s my first time [here].”
Megan Fox has been in a relationship with Machine Gun Kelly and it has been a very fruitful and enriching relationship for her as she continues to remain one of the mainstays of Hollywood. It is certainly good that she never longer wants to drink alcohol and focuses on other things.
