Nick Jonas began his musical career as part of the Jonas Brothers, and the three were largely successful. However, Nick Jonas also branched out to make his own single’s career.
On top of that, he has acted in movies and shows as well. The Jonas Brothers compete against each other in several Olympic challenges in their Olympic Dreams special, which aired July 21 on NBC.
However, disaster struck during the bike race between the three brothers. While coming out of a turn on the course, Nick’s bike spun out of control and fell off his bike, hitting the ground on his left side very hard.
The crash causes Joe and Kevin to fall to the ground as well. Nick Jonas manages to get up but Kevin Jonas tells him to not walk. Jonas revealed that he busted a rip.
“Yeah, I think my rib is f**ked up, too,”
An ambulance came and rushed Nick Jonas to the hospital and as he was being wheeled away, it was evident Jonas was in a considerable amount of pain. At a press conference after the crash, Jonas explained what happened on the bike track.
I always give 110 percent and sometimes that gets you the gold. In this case, it got me a fractured rib, a bruised tailbone, and a hospital dinner. But I’m recovering.
The Olympic Dreams special was actually filmed back in May of this year when Nick Jonas was still filming The Voice. A few days after leaving the hospital, Jonas appeared on the show and gave an update on his condition. He addressed his injury and told viewers that he was doing fine. We are certainly glad things did not turn out for the worst in Nick Jonas’ case.
