Angelina Jolie scored a big win in her divorce case as she had the judge removed. This took place after plenty of prodding on her part.
The actress is divorcing her Fight Club husband, and Us Weekly has reported that the judge was removed. A source confirmed to the outlet that Jolie’s petitions to have Judge John Ouderkirk ousted have paid off.
“The case has been sent back to the Los Angeles Superior Court. Judge Ouderkirk is no longer involved and Angelina is grateful to seek a fair decision regarding custody for the children.”
The court is now demanding that the superior court “vacate” its November 2020 ruling to deny Jolie statement of disqualification, but instead they must “make a new order disqualifying Judge Ouderkirk.
The couple share six children: Maddox, 19, Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 12. Jolie asked for Ouderkirk to step down as judge from their case in August 2020, because she said the judge failed to disclose “ongoing business and professional relationships” with Brad Pitt’s legal team.
It seems that Angelina Jolie got what she wanted out of the deal. Now the divorce proceedings will continue to stretch out even longer for the two.
