While all music festivals are there for the entertainment of its attendees, sometimes there are some laws and regulations which are meant to be complied to no matter what.
It’s a well-known rule around the world that after 11 P.M. loud music cannot be played, which means that festivals also cut the time of performances, which leads to unsatisfied fans.
DaBaby found himself in a similar situation. After he was told that he had very little time to play the whole set, and that extra time would cost him $10,000, he decided to make the sacrifice for his fans.
So, they just said we got 8 minutes left or anything after 12 o’clock, that’s $10,000.
The rapper then asked the question to the organizers about the money ensuring a full performance.
So if I pay the $10,000 out my pocket, I could get ’em the full show?
Baby then told the audience that while they thought they were the ones paying, the tables turned in an instant.
Y’all mothafuckas thought you were paying to see me. I’m ’bout to pay to see y’all. Okay, then. On the count of three, let me hear you say, ‘Thank you, Baby.’
It seems that Baby is one of the very few artists who go as far as they can to make sure their fans have a good time whenever they attend their shows. This is what makes DaBaby one of the best rappers in the current generation.
