Michael Bisping Claims Jake Paul Used Him ‘For Clout’

Michael Bisping is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in the world of MMA, as he became the first British fighter to compete in a UFC main event at UFC 78. He would become the first British fighter to win a UFC Championship at UFC 199 after winning the UFC middleweight title.

There is absolutely no doubt regarding the legitimacy of Michael Bisping and just how tough he can be. Bisping was notorious for being a hothead while competing inside the Octagon.

Jake Paul is undoubtedly one of the most popular boxers in the world right now thanks to his insanely huge big-money boxing matches and the hype he builds for each of his matches. He has called out many top fighters for a possible fight and that includes Michael Bisping.

While speaking on a YouTube Live session, Michael Bisping claimed that he was offered a contract for a fight with Jake Paul and believed that Paul used him for clout.

“You know I was offered a contract to fight Jake Paul believe it or not. And I think this came out in the media a while ago. But I think he just used me, to be honest. I think he just used me for the clout. Because I went out there and mentioned it on my podcast. And that makes him look like he’s trying to take on real fighters,”

Jake Paul will be squaring off against Tyron Woodley on August 29th, in what will be his most difficult boxing match yet. It is not known if Paul will ever face Michael Bisping as Bisping isn’t interested in him.
