DaBaby is undoubtedly one of the most popular rappers in the Hip-Hop world right now but he is also known to take things too far and is also a subject of controversy. He managed to make headlines for all the wrong reasons recently as well.
During his performance at Rolling Loud in Miami, DaBaby caused quite a stir after making a controversial and homophobic statement. This led to fans being irate and bashing him on social media.
DaBaby recently uploaded a video where the rapper made it clear he couldn’t care less what fans on the internet had to say about his comments and proceeded to double down on his comments. Naturally, this drew the ire of fans yet again and his reputation has taken a huge hit as a result.
Dua Lipa previously made it clear she doesn’t want to have anything to do with DaBaby and then Demi Lovato decided to put him on blast as well.
Rapper T.I. has come to the defense of DaBaby once again from the looks of it. As revealed by the neighborhood talk, T.I. claimed that the gay community bullies rappers such as DaBaby.
Everyone up in arms and upset about what DaBaby said. I understand people saying that they feel that it’s insensitive. I think you guys have to understand that on stage, that’s not the place that rappers go to be sensitive and soothe everybody’s feelings. It’s a place to go to have a good time.
So, “if that is the case, why do words cause such a visceral reaction that will lead to someone trying to attack, villainize, demonize, crucify, condemn and like, it’s, that sh*t is like, now you bullying. We all stood up on behalf of gays and lesbians and people in the gay community because we thought it was some bullsh*t for y’all to have to be bullied.
But I don’t think any of us did that to feel like you would now have the authority to come and bully us.”
It is very likely fans won’t like what rapper T.I. said and will bash him on social media for his problematic views.
