Drake is always working on new projects and he very well could have a new music video on the way, but he’s not casting through the DMs. A scammer is targeting people through DMs, and they hit the wrong pro wrestling, because Rachael Ellering took it straight to social media.
Ellering, daughter of pro wrestling legend Paul Ellering, is with Impact Wrestling now. She likely gets a lot of strange messages from fans, but her attention was piqued when she saw that one represented Drake. This message claimed that Drizzy was casting for a new music video and they were going to offer her $30,000 for her time. Instead of filling out the forms, including a non-disclosure agreement, Rachael Ellering decided to let everyone know about the message she received.
Good Evening, My name is Oliver El-Khatib and I represent Drake as his personal booking and casting manager Drake has stumbled across your social media recently and he believes that you have the exact look he’s been searching for to fill the lead role in an upcoming music video. As a result of that, I’ve been directed to reach out to you via email and present you with the following business proposal. We will soon begin production on a music video for a new song which is being called “Across The Room” and Drake is interested in you being apart of this. The music video will be filmed inside a nightclub and will be centered around the traditional love at first sight theme. You’ll be playing the lead female role who is going to be the love interest of Drake throughout the music video. “Across The Room” will feature both Chris Brown and The Weeknd, as well as the beat being provided by DJ Khaled. Drake is willing to offer you $30,000 (negotiable) for the day of filming as well as travel, hotel, and living expenses being covered by Drake. It is obvious to say that we hope you are intrigued and would like to know more in regards to the business proposal. If you do find yourself to be interested in working with Drake and would like to know more about the music video, then please fill out the contact form located below. As soon as I receive your follow up email with the contact form completed, I will then be able to provide you with an Non-Disclosure Agreement form. This is to help protect against any private information from being shared as well as prevent any leaks in regards to the song or the music video itself. Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.
She posted that screenshot along with a caption saying: “Wow. This is the best booking inquiry I’ve ever gotten. I knew I was Drakes type.” Her current man Chris Hero might have some stiff competition with Drake.
We’ll keep our eyes peeled during Drake’s next music video to see if we can spot Rachael Ellering, just in case this wasn’t some strange scam message.
