The rivalry between Conor Mcgregor and Dustin Poirier reached a whole new level as it culminated in the main event of UFC 264, as the two fighters took each other on in the highly anticipated fight.
In a very shocking finish to the fight, Conor McGregor fractured his ankle at the end of the first round and Dustin Poirier was declared the winner via TKO after the fight ended due to doctor’s stoppage.
The Notorious One went under the knife in a 3.5-hour-long surgery for his fractured tibia. After the surgery was over, Conor McGregor provided an update on his condition, stating that he will be on crutches for 6 weeks.
McGregor already previously revealed that he is no longer wearing a cast on his leg and also started putting in work at the gym. However, he still finds time to enjoy himself as well.
According to TMZ Sports, the former two-weight UFC champion got aboard the “The Secret Life of Pets” ride at the Universal Studios theme park in Los Angeles, California on July 30th. He was seen limping his way over with the help of his crutches and rode on the ride.
It was previously reported that Conor McGregor will be out of action until next year. We will have to wait and see what shape Conor McGregor will be in once he returns to the Octagon.
