Miley Cyrus Offers A Helping Hand To DaBaby

DaBaby is a popular rapper in the Hip-Hop world right now, but he is also known to take things too far and is also a subject of controversy. He managed to make headlines for all the wrong reasons recently as well.

During his performance at Rolling Loud in Miami, DaBaby caused quite a stir after making a controversial and homophobic statement. This led to fans being irate and bashing him on social media.

All of this has led to him being cancelled by fans and events alike. On top of that, he was previously dropped from the upcoming Lollapalooza lineup. To add to his woes, he was removed from the Governor’s Ball as well.

While others have abandoned DaBaby and distanced themselves from him for good, it seems there are others who genuinely want to help him out. Miley Cyrus took to her Instagram and offered to give a helping hand to the rapper and educate him.

Miley Cyrus felt that cancelling someone is not the best way to strive for long-term change. She posted a text graphic with the following message:

“As a proud and loyal member of the LGBTQIA+ community, much of my life has been dedicated to encouraging love, acceptance, and open mindedness. The internet can fuel a lot of hate & anger and is the nucleus of cancel culture…but I believe it can also be a place filled with education, conversation, communication & connection.”

It’s easier to cancel someone than to find forgiveness and compassion in ourselves or take the time to chance hearts and minds. There’s no more room for division if we want to keep seeing progress! Knowledge is power! I know I still have so much to learn!”

DaBaby is likely feeling remorseful after his homophobic comments at the Rolling Loud show in Miami. We will have to wait and see if DaBaby will accept Miley Cyrus’ help or not. In the meantime, his bank account took one mighty hit.
