Khabib Nurmagomedov’s opinion certainly carries a lot of weight and that is not changing anytime soon. In the main event of UFC 264, Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor competed against each other in their trilogy fight, with many fans wondering who would win in the end.
When all was said and done Conor McGregor fractured his ankle at the end of the first round and Dustin Poirier was declared the winner via TKO after the fight ended due to doctor’s stoppage.
Khabib simply stated that good defeated evil when it came to his opinion of the fight. This led to Conor Mcgregor taking a shot at Khabib’s deceased father. Khabib would then say that McGregor has a ‘dirty’ heart and that he is an evil person for disrespecting Khabib’s father as said on the Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson podcast.
When [Conor] talked about this, only evil can talk about your father, wife, kids, religion. If you’re normal human, you’re never going to talk about this stuff,” Khabib told the combat legends.
“For me, I think he post this tweet while drunk too much or something. Then the next day, he always delete these tweets. When he become normal life he says, ‘Oh, look what I did.’ Then he delete. This is my opinion what he do all the time.”
Now it seems Conor McGregor finally responded to Khabib’s comments. In a now-deleted tweet, McGregor used a famous Mike Tyson quote and then told him to keep his name out of Khabib’s mouth while insulting Khabib’s relationship with his family.
“I wanna eat his children!!!! When’s the last time he’s even seen them actually? His wife ? Mother? How bout you go spend some time with your kids and family for a change and keep my name out of your mouth b4 you get trapped somewhere again you mightn’t be so lucky next time
The bad blood between the two is unlikely to end anytime soon and we certainly wonder if Khabib will respond to what Conor McGregor said or not.
