John Cena is a 16-time World Champion and carried the company on his back throughout the PG era. From 2017 John Cena became a part-timer in WWE and has appeared sporadically due to his busy schedule in Hollywood.
Cena made his return at the WWE Money In The Bank pay-per-view last month and since then has appeared on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night Smackdown. Since then, his Summer of Cena has been going with full steam ahead.
To say his return has had a positive effect on WWE as a whole is an understatement. According to F4WOnline, there was a staggering 63% increase in ticket sales for the WWE house show in Estero, Florida after John Cena had been announced.
On top of that, John Cena announcements have led to tickets says being increased from anywhere between 18%-63%, with Louisville, Milwaukee, Detroit and Estero all seeing an increase more than 50%.
At the house shows, John Cena has been partnering up with Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio in six-man tag matches against Roman Reigns and The Usos. We certainly wonder if John Cena will be staying after WWE SummerSlam, as he’s certainly been a positive influence on the company.
