The Flash movie starring Ezra Miller is one of the most highly anticipated films in the DCEU and it will also feature Ben Affleck’s Batman on top of that. That isn’t the biggest addition to the film as Michael Keaton will also make his return as the caped crusader. A first look at how Michael Keaton will portray Bruce Wayne was revealed back in June and fans are certainly excited.
Last month, fans finally got to see Michael Keaton’s Batmobile and Batcave. While speaking to Collider, Michael Keaton talked about his role in the new Flash movie. Keaton stated that the first shot of his version of Batman is great, both in terms of imagery and in honoring Burton’s original film.
Without giving anything away, which I can’t, basically the first shot, not of the entire movie but let’s say the introduction [of Batman], is so good that when we walked on and started talking about a couple of shots and the angles, I went ‘whoa, this is big. This is great.’ I don’t even mean for me. Just the imagery, it’s great. And reminiscent, to some degree, of Tim Burton.”
The Flash movie is slated to release on November 4, 2022, We will have to see how it turns out to be and how Michael Keaton will perform in his role of Batman. With over a year to go until its release, we wonder just how polished film will turn out to be.
