WWE Hall of Famer and current Hollywood star Dave Bautista is one of the most sought after actors in the business right now. He made a name for himself by portraying the role of Drax the Destroyer in Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy film franchise. Batista always wanted a movie based on his character but it never came to fruition, which Marvel didn’t really find any need in, much to Batista’s dismay.
Before making it big as a Hollywood star, Batista made a name for himself as one of the top Superstars in WWE, as he was involved in some of the most iconic moments in the company’s history.
One of Batista’s most iconic themes was ”I Walk Alone” by Saliva. While speaking to Reel Talker, leader singer for Saliva, Bobby Amaru, talked about re-recording Batista’s theme song a few years ago at WWE’s request and also another song. Amaru claimed that the new version of ”I Walk Alone” still hasn’t been released.
“They had reached out about us doing something a couple years ago. I think it had to do about re-recording ‘I Walk Alone’ and doing something else. We ended up re-recording ‘I Walk Alone’. So it’s done, we just haven’t released it.”
We certainly wonder if someday the band will release the unreleased version of Batista’s iconic theme song for fans to listen to. At this point in time that seems highly unlikely.
