Beyonce has a sadness running through her organization right now as her longtime security guard passed away from COVID-19. Tina Knowles-Lawson, Beyoncé’s mother, made the terrible announcement on Instagram.

Craig Adams, Beyoncé’s longtime security guard, passed away due to a tragic pandemic that is ransacking the planet. Millions are effected by the terrible pandemic all around as the Delta Variant continues sweeping through all regions.

In her Instagram post, Tina Knowles-Lawson broke the horrible news that COVID-19 has taken someone very close to them.

I am heartbroken this morning. I found out this morning that this amazing human being Craig Adams from Houston passed away last night from Covid. This horrible killer disease attacked his organs , his lungs first made him have kidney failure and as hard as he fought he succumbed to the disease last night. Craig was a fitness trainer and was healthy! This is only the latest of Many friends and family that were lost to Covid. Craig was Beyoncé’s trainer and later security for Destiny’s Child. ! He was like a family member . Such a beautiful human being , kind , loving, and gentle. RIP Craig we love you!

COVID-19 cases are surging once again after there was a short time when it seemed the pandemic was under control. Adams lived in Houston, a city where 97% of all COVID case treated are of the Delta Variant with 82% of those sick being unvaccinated. This is a serious situation and our hearts are with anyone who is effected by the devastating effects of COVID-19.
