Lizzo Hates It When People Bring Up Her Weight

Lizzo remains one of the most popular musicians in the music industry right now, be it male or female. She also has plenty of thirst toward Chris Evans and Drake. On top of that, she has various interests and that include trying the latest trends on TikTok, for better or for worse. 

Lizzo is a plus-size singer and for that reason, she has been a subject of constant ridicule and body shaming from haters. A rumor has been making rounds recently which claimed that Lizzo killed a person by jumping into the crowd while attempting a stage dive, but Lizzo wasted no time in shutting down that rumor.

While speaking to Apple Music, Lizzo talked about her struggles being a plus-sized black woman in the music industry. She also mentioned how her weight is the worst thing people bring up.

“There’s a plus-sized black girl at the Grammys, but plus-sized black women are still not getting the treatment they deserve in hospitals and from doctors and at work, you know what I mean?”

“I feel like fat is the worst thing people can say about me at this point. This is the biggest insecurity. It’s like, ‘How dare a pop star be fat?’ I had to own that,”

Lizzo will continue to shine and be a beacon of hope for those who are facing insecurities with their own body image and we applaud her for always staying true to herself.
