Lil Wayne is currently one of the top rappers in the Hip-Hop world and has produced numerous classic tracks. Interestingly enough, the rapper himself might have forgotten the lyrics to some of his songs. On top of that, he has a deep love for tattoos on his body. That doesn’t change how the man wants to help those who helped him the most.
Lil Wayne certainly lived a difficult life before making it big as a rapper as he had battles with mental health and even attempted suicide when he was a child. Weezy’s childhood included some darker periods, to say the least. Weezy previously admitted he tried to commit suicide when he was 12. Now it seems there is more to the story than initially thought.
While speaking to TMZ, Robert Hoobler, who is known as “Uncle Bob” to Lil Wayne, is a former New Orleans police officer who saved his life when he tried to commit suicide. Hoobler revealed that he saw Lil Wayne in 2019 when the rapper was in NOLA for a radio show.
It was around that time that the rapper offered to provide Bob with financial support if he ever needed it. While he hasn’t taken up the rapper on the generous offer, the former police officer is in talks to join the rapper’s team in some sort of administrative capacity.
It is great that Lil Wayne wants to take care of the man who saved his life and it is certain that the former police officer is happy that he has the rapper’s backing.
